The patreon versions only plays content that the developer has released to the public, which is usually 1-2 versions behind the most current version. The most current version is only available to the developer’s patrons. Once you get to the end of the public version in this game (which I believe is where the husband sets up the camera to spy on Hana), the game requires you to enter the patreon code in order to continue. If you don’t have that code, you cannot proceed! And the developer is hardcore about changing the code as soon as it has been compromised. Believe me, I’ve tried two of these recently released patreon versions, including this one, and I’m speaking from experience!

I find it rather weird why you make a fuss over it. The creator spent x-time to make the game, so why can’t they ask for compensation? You don’t really have a right to get everything for free, even if you believe otherwise. Fortunately some people provide public versions, but those not doing so are just as correct. *shrug*
