Info: In this early look at the game, you’ll get a taste of Heidi’s crusade against the sinister Genestealer cultists—those creepy, robed weirdos who really need to be taught the meaning of personal space. While the mechanics are still barebones (think “garage band demo”), we’ve got the basics down: move, jump, punch, and cause mayhem. More features—and yes, more fan service—are coming soon™, once Heidi finds time between beating up heretics and updating her wardrobe. Right now, there’s no plot, no upgrades, no spicy scenes, and no mercy. Just raw proto-fury in a pixelated battlefield of justice. If you like side-scrolling chaos, 2D action, and cult-punching heroines, you’re in the right place.
Pre-Alpha v0.3.0 New Environment — The Undercity Stripclub/Bar A brand new area is under construction, and I’m still deciding whether it’ll become a full stage or an optional sub-level. Either way, the vibe is already strong. This seedy undercity bar/stripclub is built to feel alive (and maybe a bit sickly): • flickering neon lights • sweat-soaked metal walls • loud, unhealthy bass • silhouettes dancing in the haze • shady patrons lounging, arguing, or vibing questionably From tight back rooms to a noisy dance floor and a grimy bar counter, the place is slowly turning into a little ecosystem of underhive culture. Whether it becomes a main progression level or a side detour will depend on pacing — but even now, the area already feels full of personality. New Enemy — The Grub Arrives Meet the Grub: small, fast, and absolutely annoying in all the right ways. These little biological disasters zig-zag around the arena, lunge unpredictably, and generally exist to ruin your carefully planned combos. One Grub is a nuisance. Two force you to focus. A whole swarm becomes pure, beautiful chaos. They don’t hit hard — they just get in your way. A lot. Balancing them has been interesting, and this is definitely just the first Grub variant… now that the door is open, more weird creatures are probably crawling through. NPCs Filling Out the Level The new area also brings a population of NPCs, both decorative and interactable: • dancers • drunk patrons • loiterers • suspicious characters • underhive weirdos who might tell you something useful (or not) They add life and humor, turning the environment into a small diorama rather than just a backdrop. The game world is starting to feel like a messy parody society with its own culture, quirks, and questionable nightlife.
