Now here’s an rpg maker title that I can get behind. They’ve taken out the turn based system for a real time version, quick and easy to use, and it makes the game surprisingly fun (if devoid of strategy). I enjoyed my time so far with it and as there are no glaring issues that I’ve encountered, I’ll certainly play it a second time.
Pros
~excellent artwork throughout
~the writers of this game have a great sense humour, expect to find Easter eggs all over the place, and the mc’s reactions are funny too
~unexpected sex scenes pop up as a reward for exploring rather than just part of the story. I like that a lot
Cons
~combat system is great, but doesn’t require much thought, meaning you’re generally pushing one button to win
~game overs after every defeat by even the random enemies. It gets annoying, either send us back to town or at least give us a “defeated” sex scene. This isn’t dark souls
~the story doesn’t like to tell you where to go next between the major segments, which means I stumbled around trying to find a new mission, and when I did so I was hideously under leveled because I missed an area
